Right... Got some results back. Most of them have no bearing on my actual Prelims grade, so I'm not too bothered with them, even if I got low marks. Not to say I didn't put effort into those papers which didn't matter; rather, not as much as I would have if they did count. As it is, I passed a Physics (exam, not test) paper for the first time in my life, haha. Feels quite good, even though I know I should be aiming for more than a pass, and that I will. The other most remarkable thing I achieved is this. My SS paper was another one of those whose marks wouldn't count into my actual prelim grades, and I had hardly any time to study for it due to the short notice of the re-test dates and times, so I just basically flipped through a few chapters in 'preparation' for the paper. The source-based portion, so-so, although I somehow contrived to get a L1/1 for question 1(c), that was the only black spot. SEQ, here's the magic. I barely studied and managed to get 19/25. Christ, either my memory's good, or I am the undisputed King of Logical Bullshit. LOL. I'm still amazed at how I managed such a feat. I guess it goes to show how much a good foundation of English can help. Will be waiting to see if my History paper turns out the same way, although I highly doubt lightning can strike twice.Anyway, the big football news everyone's talking about: Mourinho's gone! I couldn't believe it when I heard it on the radio yesterday (I was sick, lying in bed resting, with the radio on). I couldn't believe my ears. Went to the com to check it out on Soccernet and, sure enough, the big headline 'Mourinho parts with Chelsea' shone back in my face. It's amazing.I never liked the fact that Chelsea were so successful despite their boring style of play, and they were freakishly difficult to beat, as Man Utd's record against them shows. For these reasons, I didn't like Mourinho. However, only the most retarded, biased fan can actually say that Mourinho was a lousy manager. He was brilliant, a great man manager, above all else, and he hardly deserved to be sacked under such circumstances. I hope he gets a nice job (not in England! I could do without competition to United!) where the board respects his decisions and not interfere in team affairs. Perhaps, he might even be a future Man Utd manager. For all the grief (title-wise) he has caused us, he's still a brilliant manager, and when Fergie decides to finally hang up his overcoat, I'd welcome Mourinho with open arms.Abramovich is really a big idiot. What kind of retarded chairman gets unsatisfied with (almost) guaranteed success every season, fucks things up by forcibly introducing players into the team, destabilising it, then firing the manager when things get screwed up? I hope Chelsea goes the route of Hearts, which has its own crazy chairman in Vladimir Romanov. Avram Grant will be up against it from day one, I think the players are still seething from this unwelcome and certainly unforeseeable development in the managing staff. I hope United can take advantage of this confusion and deal Chelsea a big blow to their title hopes this weekend.Besides Roman's friends, I seriously find it difficult to see how anyone might be really interested in the Chelsea job now, knowing that winning just isn't enough. Pressure would be immense, and the chairman could just kick you out for not entertaining him. I read on a footy website, and I fully agree, that if this continues, Chelsea is beginning to look more and more like Abramovich's plaything rather than a serious investment, regardless of any statements they may release denying so. Once he gets tired and leaves... Ho ho. Chelsea, get to know Leeds United. When Roman leaves, you two clubs are going to have ALOT in common. Namely, being bankrupt.Well, that's all for now then. There's a big match coming on the weekend, all Man Utd fans please support the team! (Unlike the fickle Chelsea idiots, only 24,000 decided it was worth watching their team potentially spank Rosenborg. Serves them right they only drew)Anonyman!
