Injury!
Goddamn you Lin Hao, there's a swelling on my leg now, you dick. lol.
WELL, today was a pretty cool day. woke up slightly late... played some PS2 before making my way to mac at 12 for the Logistics meeting. Briefed everyone and hung around as they had their lunch before we decided to go play football. band room was closed, so we got Shi Zheng to go home and get his football. he told us to wait downstairs while he went up and guess what? he made us wait about 15-20 minutes. why? COS HE WAS HAVING HIS LUNCH. very 'OMGWTFBBQ', i know. lol.
well, we did get to playing in the end. was involved in some nice moves before the security guard came to stop us. i understand his point of view, i can step into his shoes, so i'm not gonna complain about him, but it was still kinda shitty that we couldn't continue. no matter, had prac after that. was alright, just went through parade and Recollection pieces. i'll have to say something for Legend of the Eagles, heh. well, i think i already know what i want to say. gonna mostly ad-lib on the day itself, not gonna bother to think up a speech or anything.
after prac it was time for more FOOTBALL. sadly we got chased out before we could really do anything, so we went to have dinner. for shit's sake, we scouted the street soccer court near the school after dinner, AND IT WAS EMPTY. we went and played, of course. some nice goals and build-up play was involved. nevertheless, near the end we were all daaaaaamn shacked, and weren't even bothering to mark people anymore, lol. sorta like, 'through pass? one on one? ah whatever la'. lol.
and this brings me back to the first 2 sentences of this post. Lin Hao's careless tackling has resulted in me getting a swell on my right ankle. not REALLY pain, but it's very sore, and touching/hitting it is asking for it, you know the kind. i guess i'll be limping a bit for these few days then. lucky i'm not marching, or i'll be dead, heh.
well, tiring day, but daaamn worth it. Football's ALWAYS worth it, especially when it's with these guys. The Beautiful Game. it's called that for a reason, you know.
