ok, here i am!just totally revamped my iPod. it's more rock now than ever before, though of course there are still the essential elements of easy listening, jazz and band songs.today spent the day with tommy and eugene. we went to several places in singapore, and at the HMV in the Heeren shops i got 3 CDs. Velvet Revolver's Contraband, Van Halen's The Best of Both Worlds (a greatest hits album), and the piece de resistance, Racer X's Technical Difficulties. the CDs cost me a bomb, $76.90 to be exact. Technical Difficulties on its own cost $43.00. call me mad, but i think this is all daaaaaaamn worth my money, or rather my mum's money. she gave me so much! i have since uploaded all the songs into my iTunes library, it's now fatter than before and i'm actually really proud of it.anyhoo, we spent the rest of the day walking around quite aimlessly, haha. went to check out vivocity, and although, yea, it's big and new, there really isn't anything to catch my attention. i suppose, going to shopping centres must go with some female friends, then can. 3 guys? go there and stone only hahaha.we went to the serangoon area and sat down and had some soya bean water while we rested in the place (N&B's snacks, i think that's what the shop is called. u might have heard of it). it started to rain soon after, and we were stranded. moved to the mac next door, and tommy and i began talking about football and studies (sorry eugene, u must have been damn bored). after discussing with him, i think i'm better off pursuing an education in the arts. maybe journalism is up my street. i was never much of a science guy anyway. thanks for the insights, tommy. cleared my mind alot, regarding my future.we went to have dinner at one of the coffeeshops near tommy's house, before getting some snacks and heading to his house. the poolside area was still wet from the earlier downpour, so we went up to his unit. we watched the 2nd part of, what's it called, 'Winners and Sinners'? i think that's it. i never got round to watching the 2nd part till now, and it's HILARIOUS. damn funny, especially the fighting part. after a little while CS and Daowei dropped by. we watched a little of 'Rob-B-Hood' or however u spell it. ok la, not bad, but after the laughs of 'Winners and Sinners', 'Rob-B-Hood' just felt so-so. by this time it was close to 11, and eugene and i decided to split. while waiting for the bus we had a small discussion about the next-gen (game) consoles. i had gotten a copy of the Singapore version of Electronic Gaming Monthly, u see, and that sparked off the discussion.well, here i am now, back at home, tired but happy. it was a pretty fun day. thanks guys. particularly pleased about my CD haul. lolok then, i'll see u guys when i see u. Cheerio!Anonyman!
