Anyone who sees this post, do yourself a favour and watch the vid I've posted. Or rather, listen to the song. I swear, it's beautiful. I repeat, do yourself a favour by listening to it.
Dionne Warwick - Deja Vu
This is insane All you did was say hello Speak my name Feeling your love Like a love I used to know Long ago How can it be We’re a different space in time Come to me Feel like I’m home in a place I used to know Long Ago
CHORUS: Deja Vu Could you be the dream that I once knew Is it you Deja Vu Could you be the dream that might come true Shining through I keep remembering me I keep remembering you Deja Vu
This is divine I been waiting for so long Filling time Looking for you That’s worth more than you could know Long Ago Come to me now We don't have to dream of love We know how Somewhere before it's as if I loved you so So long ago
REPEAT CHORUS 2X: Deja Vu Could you be the dream that I once knew Is it you Deja Vu Could you be the dream that might come true Shining through I keep remembering me I keep remembering you Deja Vu

Wow. Another big day.
You know, I set out today intending to get a Nintendo DS. I knew it wasn't as versatile or 'cool' as the PSP, but still, I thought the software and the gameplay of most games (which is quirky - in a good way - according to reviews) would give it the edge over the PSP, at least for me.
However, I went to the shops at Funan, and saw what poor support there was in DS games (only Pokemon was really worth my time and money) and just got converted there and then, haha. In the end we (me and my friend Boon) went to Sim Lim Square to get the PSP though. Got a pretty good deal, I'd say.
Anyway, I followed him to his parents' newly-opened cafe after the purchase was done. Apparently the cafe was in a condo, particularly catering to the residents there. Now, I gotta reserve a whole paragraph to what I'm about to say next.
THE CONDOMINIUM WAS JUST SO BLOODY AWESOME NO WORDS CAN JUSTIFY ITS MAGNIFICENCE. It really is that great. The whole layout of the place... Swimming pool, gym, squash and tennis courts... Yeah, the usual condominium facilities, but this place's layout and feel is just so... 'wow', you know? My friend helps out at the cafe, and one of his jobs is to deliver the food, as residents can order and wait for delivery (which, in itself, is really quite kickass already). There was an order from the tallest block in the compound, and after completing the delivery we went up to the top floor (28th storey) and... we were struck dumb by the magnificent view. It was like a cityscape, and it looked really, really, really awesome. There's just something about the east, you know? It might be quite urbanised but at the same time it's got an air of 'relaxibility' about it. The view just blew us away. We spent quite a significant amount of time just talking while looking at the beautiful view.
We went down after receiving a call from his parents; there was another delivery to be made. Get this, the lift lobbies of the place are air-conditioned! Holy fuck, that's awesome. The house we went to had a hyperactive dog which crept out of the house despite the owner's best efforts to keep it back, hahaha. It playfully jumped at me (it was a small dog) for awhile before its owner brought it back into the house.
The two of us just went back to the cafe and talked about a whole variety of subjects. Real nice talking, you know. We also had some great stuff to eat; his parents cooked up pasta and a pizza for us, along with bottled drinks and dessert (ice-cream) afterwards, all free. It's all just really awesome, just so awesome. What a place to work at, too. Brilliant, truly brilliant.
I'd post the picture I took of the view we got at the top floor, but it really doesn't do it justice. This is one sight that has to be seen first-hand to truly appreciate it.
Well it's been another fantastic day. Cheers Boon, I'll see you next week for WoW shopping, hahaha!

Right then, so I've been working the past week. Working for my mum, just helping out around the store (which, actually, encompasses ALOT of things).
It's actually good work cos the timings are flexible, and, depending on the volume of customers, there can be times where you can just slack. But when there's work, THERE'S WORK. Also, it's a full day affair, with me waking up at around 7.30am everyday and working till around 7-8 at night. Tiring, very tiring. At least the money's good. I really do intend to get a DS, as well as some more game for my new PC, haha.
Well, there's really nothing else happening in my life at the moment besides the job and game-playing, so I'll end off here. Leaving with The Scorpions' Rock You Like A Hurricane, a certified rock n' roll legendary song. It's just sounds so damn kickass, you know? Hahaha
The Scorpions - Rock You Like A Hurricane
It's early morning The sun comes out Last night was shaking And pretty loud My cat is purring And scratches my skin So what is wrong With another sin The bitch is hungry She needs to tell So give her inches And feed her well More days to come New places to go I've got to leave It's time for a show
Here I am, rock you like a hurricane Here I am, rock you like a hurricane
My body is burning It starts to shout Desire is coming It breaks out loud Lust is in cages Till storm breaks loose Just have to make it With someone I choose The night is calling I have to go The wolf is hungry He runs to show He's licking his lips He's ready to win On the hunt tonight For love at first sting
Here I am, rock you like a hurricane Here I am, rock you like a hurricane Here I am, rock you like a hurricane Here I am, rock you like a hurricane
