Right, I'm back!Big stuff; I GOT MY NEW COM! Like, finally man. That old one was finding all sorts of ways and means to screw me. It's as if it knew its time was up and decided, 'Right, I'm gonna fuck you as bad as I can before I go. Go out with a bang!'. Damn sonuvabitch. One by one things started to die. CD-Drive inexplicably conked out, DVD-Drive playing the fool, and all sorts of various other things.I got Vista on my new machine, and the layout, I have to say, looks real sweet. Like, all classy and shit man. Awesome. It's visibly more powerful than my old one too (of course). I got a couple of new games to go with it too, and still have some money lying about. The good thing is, this money isn't my savings or my parents' money or anything like that. Them's all money I got from ang baos and for my birthday, which are events from months ago. Y'see, I don't spend much, and definitely not on a regular basis, but when I do, it's quite alot. Lol.Anyway I've still got leftover, so maybe I'll look out for another game or so. That said, maybe I should get a little bit more money and then, combined with this current amount, go get a Nintendo DS. It's all about gaming baby. LOLBut I'm serious, that's a plan worth considering. I'll see what's what then.Well, not much else to say. I've just been slacking around at home the past few days. Need this alone time, you know? Especially after a busy first 2 weeks or so of the holidays. Well, till next time then.Anonyman!

Wow, it's been awhile (again).Just realised I haven't posted since the day after the end of the O Levels. Life's been quite packed since then. I'm just afraid that soon I'll run out of things to do, haha.Let's see then... Of course the first thing was the class chalet. Not that much footy was played, and the chalet can't exactly be classified under 'fun', although it was good in its own ways. Learnt a new card game, pretty good one at that too, but for some reason I doubt I'll be able to play it much in the future, mainly cos cards aren't really my thing and it's never the first idea to surface when there's nothing to do and I'm with friends. But we'll see. Did a lot of talking with Xun Hao at night. The room was so small and cramped, it's almost a small storeroom. Of course, it's all about relativity, but nevertheless, small. As such the two of us decided to hang out by the pool, on the deck chairs. Talked about a myriad of subjects, and we were joined later by some of the other guys who found the room too cold to sleep in.Next day we went back to school for the PAE thing. Nothing much, just telling us how to apply and the deadlines and also to give us a booklet full of info. I haven't read it yet. LOL. But it's okay, I can't go anywhere with my score anyway, so it doesn't matter. Just gonna wait for my O Level results then we'll see what's what.Spent the next few days with Eugene and James. Most of the time I've had in the hols so far has been spent with them. Band camp was up next. Dropped in on the first day and didn't do much. 2nd day, I stayed over. The usual suspects were there; Jiahao, Daryl, Cheng Song etc etc. Played DotA (they brought 2 laptops and managed to link up the band room com too) for shit's sake. Up till now I can still only use Sniper to any effect, lol. Never mind, it's a good game but too repititive for my taste. I only fell asleep at around 5am, using one of those little soft footballs as a pillow, lol. I actually woke up about an hour or so later, when some band members came in to get some stuff. Couldn't fall asleep after that so I just walked around outside for abit before playing some mindsweeper on the band room computer before telling James that I was going off. He decided to come as well, as did Eugene, and we went to have breakfast before heading back home to get a good sleep. That evening was the Alumni band practice; basically just sight-reading some pieces. We sounded alright, I guess. Dinner was pretty farcical, the buffet was mis-ordered to the next day so the teachers pulled some last minute capers and managed to order a whopping number of pizzas and Pepsi. Fucking crazy load of food (there was also some mee hoon and roti john, as well as satay) and I was stuffed. Pretty good food, I think, but feels abit weird after expecting a buffet, you know? HahahaWell I guess that brings us to yesterday, which was prom night. The whole affair, not really my kind of thing, but the food was alright (unbelievably small portions though, sheesh) and the company made it worthwhile. After the main stuff was over the same three guys went to Lau Pa Sat for supper, none of us were full. Had some pretty alright food, though the stingray's chilli was kinda... well, not too good.Shi Kai 'joined' us later. Rather, he just came by in his cab and we took it back to my place. Shi Kai went back home after that, and the other guys stayed over at my place, playing games for the whole night before we all fell asleep for about 2 hours before waking up to go for breakfast together. Quite similar to the night we stayed over at the band room, huh. Lol.I slept real long after I got back home, 7-odd hours to be exact. Freakin' knackered, I was. Well, I got up after that and just played some games and stuff. Some of the band guys were going to a Lan shop but I wasn't interested. Just chilled out at home, and here I am now, blogging about it all. Just came off watching Kung Fu Hustle on AXN, lol. Not that funny but it was nice to watch, at any rate.Well, I think I might be working out details for my new com tomorrow with Boon. Till next time then, here's Alison Moyet with Invisible.Alison Moyet - Invisible

Well, it's all over.I'm glad for it. Quite tired. Nothing to do now but to really kick back and wait till results day. After the last paper I went to the band room to meet with James. Stayed around and whacked the drums (quite awfully, I'd have to say) for awhile before we had lunch and went to my place to play PES. Shi Kai came later. We actually managed to play 30+ matches in one day. Freakin' madness, really. Had dinner with them before they went off.The next day, that being today, I met up with James and Eugene to watch a movie. I suggested Beowulf; in my opinion, a pretty cool show. Also, my first NC-16 show, haha. I can understand why it's NC-16; partial nudity (mostly backsides, LOL) and pretty violent scenes. It was an action-packed show, full of fighting and stuff. That said, it had its funny parts. Don't intend to reveal anything here, so if you're interested go ahead and watch it. I'd give it 4 out of 5.We stoned for awhile before having dinner at Pizza Hut. I cleaned out, no notes were left in my wallet at the end of the day. I don't like that, even if I do have a somewhat 'unlimited' supply of money. I don't like spending too much.Cool day, really. Lots of laughs and shit. Now I just have to fill the rest of my holidays, lol. Tomorrow's the class chalet, there's that. For me personally, I think it's just gonna be footy, footy, footy and more footy. Not that I mind! Haha!Tired man. I think I'm gonna sleep now. Having a slight case of that 'burning face' sensation I get whenever I'm tired or have stared at a screen (computer or otherwise) too much. Night, people!Pat Benatar - We Belong

Right, just dropping in for a quick update.Stayed up last night to see the Man Utd - Kiev match, my first full, live Champions League match. It was good seeing the way we dominated, but then again Kiev came to Old Trafford with 'damage control' the only thing on their minds. They didn't start any of their 3 best attackers, for example, and only brought on 2 of em at half-time, by which we were already 2-0 up.It was good seeing Pique score, and Tevez's goal was a United trademark - quick, incisive counter-attacking. Rooney's goal was all down to Nani's brilliant cross, and Ronaldo's was plain individual skill. We actually could have gotten 2 or 3 more goals, the biggest waste being Tevez taking too long to set up the shot for himself and the defender managing to rush back to tackle, but still, 4-0 is great. We're through to the knock-out stages now, but it'd be good if we could confirm top spot with a win against Sporting Lisbon in our next CL match. It'll give us an easier time; I don't think any of the big names will be qualifying only in 2nd this year.Ok then, I'm off. Studying for the MCQs begins tomorrow. Till next time then.Anonyman!

Wow, it's been awhile huh. There's only the three MCQ papers left, so I've decided to resuscitate this dying blog a little bit before disappearing for another week or so.Let's do a breakdown of the papers so far:A Math:One word: Fucked.Chem Paper 2:I think I did alright. There were some questions I didn't know how to do, but after counting marks dropped, plus allowing for errors in calculation (of marks) on my part, the worst I should be getting is a B3, which I'm fine with, as the Paper 1 is definitely going to be used to jack the whole score up, hopefully significantly. Hopeful grade: A1.History:Another one that I found alright. Really nothing much to comment on; topics for SEQ, I had at least base knowledge of all of them. Did the question on Gorbachev in the end as it was the chapter I was most comfortable with, having read it twice over the night before plus once more on the morning itself. As it is with Humanities, it's difficult to say how well I did. Nevertheless, I think it's a solid 'OK'.English Paper 1:The functional writing portion... I think I covered all the examination criteria, albeit probably not fantastically well. Should be able to get an alright mark for that section. The compo, well, inspiration hit me and I managed a 6 1/4 page (that's 3 sheets of foolscap plus a 4th) story on the topic 'Heroes'. The only worry is that I might be construed as having written out of point, but I think that'll only happen if the marker is extremely anal. Still, 99% sure I wrote within context, and, if I do say so myself, my story was quite touching. That's unusual, cos I don't usually do 'touching'. My stories usually contain loads of fighting and war and shit. Lol. But I digress. Should get an A1 for this paper. A2 at worst, B3 at very very very worst.English Paper 2:This paper was alright... Passage and questions quite easy to understand, and the summary portion was actually quite straightforward. That said, I'm still crossing my fingers. I should be fine but I don't want to get over-confident. I'd like an A1 for English, overall, but a B3 would be alright.E Math 1 & 2:Generally quite okay... Might have dropped a few marks here and there but I feel quite good about E Math, as a whole. Hoping for a minimum grade of B3.Chinese:Haha, don't know what to say. Paper 2 just see my luck lah, seriously, but the Cloze Passage was actually slightly easier than usual. Just lucky, I guess, lol. The comprehension passages were also okay, although one or two of the questions were abit tricky. Solution? Find the general area of where the answer might be and copy/paste the whole bloody thing. Lol. Should do okay lah, seriously. Paper 1... Nothing special. I think I'll get my same ol' 13-14 for letter-writing, and something like 27-30 or so for my compo. I hope my grade can improve. I'm currently on a B3, and I wouldn't like to have re-taken the subject for shits. An A2, at least, if not an (ultra-super-duper tyco) A1, that's what I'm hoping for.Physics Paper 2:I don't know what happened to me but I blanked out for the first 5 minutes or so of this paper before I got my head in the game and started to do the paper for serious. Generally okay; I have just about the same feeling for this paper as I do for Chem 2. Also gonna use the Paper 1 to jack up the marks. It should be a B3, for now. Hope to get an A2 or A1 for the final grade.Social Studies:SBQ was alright... I wasn't VERY SURE on any of the SEQ topics, but I think I'll do okay for the question I chose (the one on People). Don't feel as good about this as I do for History. That said, I don't feel horrible about it either, so, while it's hard to gauge what grade I'll get, I think a B3 or A2 wouldn't be too far off a guess. Maybe A1, that's possible.Bio Paper 2:Didn't really study for this as I don't intend to use this for my L1R5. That said, the paper was ridiculously easy in some portions. Example: They gave us a bar graph with the different figures representing water gained/lost in a day through various means. Then one of the questions pertaining to the graph asked us to calculate the total water gained. Very '?!?!?!?!', isn't it? Lol. Not complaining though. They want to give us marks for Primary School maths, I'm happy to take them. Was confused by the Genes question though, and wrote quite little for the question 6 and 7 for the essay questions, especially 7. Nevertheless, I don't think it's ridiculous to say that I could get a B4 or something in that region. Paper 1 will jack up my grade by 1 or 2 grades, so I'm not worried about it, especially since I'm not really intending to use this for my L1R5.Well, there we are. Of course, I'll do alot of practice for my MCQ papers, and, honestly, I'm confident I'll do well for them. I'm really hoping for a minimum of 35/40 for all of them, although I'm aiming for something around the region of 38-40 for Phy and Chem, and 36-38 for Bio. That said, I'll of course be trying to get full marks for all of them; they'll really help my grades.Well, just a little bit more before I'm free. Can't wait, honestly. Days of football, video games and general good-times lie ahead, lol. Till next time then, here's a video of the video game Guitar Hero II, with the song featured being Trogdor, by Strong Bad. It's a joke song, although it does sound kick-ass in its own way. Check out http://www.homestarrunner.com/ in your free time. Funny. As. Hell.Strong Bad - Trogdor
