Well, back I am.Nothing much has been happening this week. Got back me chinese O level results, got a B3. Not sad, not happy. But have to retake, so I might as well take full advantage of the opportunity. Besides, I miraculously managed to get a Distinction for my Listening Compre/Oral, which is unreal cause I'm pretty sure I screwed my Oral pretty bad, but, as it is, I stand a good chance of an improved grade, so, yeah, retaking and hoping for the best.Well, prelims start next week. As it is, I'm in the process. I just want improvement all round, that's all I ask for. No particular goals or whatever, just EVERYTHING must be overhauled. That's it.The football's fucking, I shan't talk about it. Just hope it all gets better, REAL QUICK.Well I guess I'll just leave you guys with this song. It's one of those songs which sounds good and also, the lyrics express something. I think. lol. Well, till next time then.Blondie - Heart Of Glass

Hahahaha new phone! The Sony Ericsson W880iFinally man. Seems like I've been using that old 'classic' thing for ages. It worked well, but the battery was screwing with me and it hung occasionally. Making the step up to this feels all the more refreshing cos of that. It's got the usual features, 2 megapixel camera, downloadable content etc etc, as well as the Walkman function(I can now go around with 3 GB worth of music, HEE. LOL), but the coolest feature yet is the song sampling function. Basically, you just activate the function and hold it up to any song playing on the radio or wherever, and the phone will record a 5-6 second sample of it, then using that sample, it will check with sources on the Web and tell you the song name, the artiste and even the album! Fucking awesome! I tried the function on a song playing on Gold 90.5 FM; a cover of Smoke Gets In Your Eyes, done by Julio Eglesias. Not totally unknown, but also somewhat obscure, that song. The phone got it spot on though. I'm particularly impressed that it could detect that it was a cover, and by whom it was sung, rather than just identifying the song and giving me the original version's artiste. Fucking awesome man, fucking awesome. It's also slim as hell, and looks cool like nothing else, lol. Magnifico.ALSO, the new season starts TONIGHT. Damn, can't wait. Besides Man Utd, I'm also interested in the battle for the UEFA Cup places; so many of the mid-table teams have strengthened so much, it's gonna make for a helluva spectacle.Well, that's all for now! New phone hahahahahaAnonyman!

Ok, back for the weekly update.Well, the new Premier League season's starting soon. Honestly, I can't wait. The past few months have been quite intolerable, what with an extreme dearth of quality football. The Asian Cup was just a small distraction. While I wouldn't say it was a horrible tournament, it certainly says something of the tactics of the teams involved when there were 4 penalty shootouts in the latter half of the competition. South Korea was certainly impotent; 3 goals in 6 matches, that's some serious striking problems they have.I got so used to such low-scoring games that when I saw that Saudi Arabia had beaten Japan 3-2 in the semi-finals I was actually quite surprised. Also, Australia was a massive disappointment, stumbling their way through the group stages and finally falling in a (what else?) penalty shootout to Japan.Anyway, all that has made me real pumped up for the new season. I watched the Community Shield match, and while it may just be a glorified friendly, it was nice to get one over Chelsea. As a spectacle the match was good, both sides had their chances, it was a pretty open match, no one team really dominating the other... Good game, good game. And what an end to the match. 3-0 on penalties, that's mad. I thought that at least Frank Lampa might've scored, but Van der Sar was brilliant. It has to be said though, while Chelsea's penalties were firmly struck, only Pizarro's really gave VDS any trouble. The other 2 were so close to the keeper, pretty easy to save, really.Well anyway, the season proper's starting this weekend. Reading, quite an opener. Reserving judgement till the match's over, haha. Reverting back to my pragmatic self. Superstitious little bugger I am. That said, I'm excited to see the new signings. Nani wasn't really good in the Community Shield, but I'm putting that down to nervousness. Imagine you're 19 and you're making your debut for one of the world's biggest clubs (if not THE biggest, lol) against a top side like Chelsea, in one of the best stadiums in the world, Wembley. Who the hell wouldn't be nervous? Of course, if he plays like this over the next few weeks it'll be quite worrying =/Well, prelims coming soon. Will be making good use of this long-as-hell weekend to do some work, especially maths. Keep going, keep going, that's all there is at the moment.A new season beckons. Come on United!Anonyman!Face to face, that's the only way I'm willing to do things. Your call now; ball in your court.
