well, here i am, at the end of a tiring day.

i have absolutely no idea why, but i was in a pretty poor mood for the whole day. woke up in the morning and rotted quite abit before heading off for band prac, feeling crappy throughout. got to school at around 1.20, and proceeded to let music heal me. listened to LTE, especially Biaxident. just lost myself in music until around 1.45, had a little chat with Shao Jie and Lin Hao before heading into the band room. Mr Tan had some business to attend to, so we had sectionals till 3.20, thereabouts. raised myself for sectionals as i always do, joking like an ass before getting to serious work on that new piece, Der Vogelhandler. articulation is still pretty horrible. need to work on that.

went into the band room, Ms Chin briefed us about some things before Cheng Song took over to conduct us for the piece. he was very thorough. but it all seems kind of a waste of time when BT came back and did things in a different way. like there doesn't seem to be much point in getting CS to conduct in the first place, when we're just going to do it a whole different way in the end. nevertheless, the practice was beneficial. worked out the direction and style of the music. pissed at myself for making some assholic-ly stupid mistakes. just made my mood worse.

after prac my mood also didn't improve much. totally switched off today, in a way. dunno how to describe my mood. it's puzzling, even to me. had dinner with Ben and James, had a pretty good talk and laugh. this did raise my spirits a little, but i'm still feeling kind of morose. that's the way this day began and i suppose that's how it's gonna end. ah hell. tomorrow's another day.

ok back to update. don't worry la, not ALL my posts will be on football, although do be prepared to read quite a bit of footy.

today. dull day. woke up at around 8 despite sleeping at 2. my biological clock is one screwed up piece of machinery heh. just surfed the net a little, before seeing that Clarissa was online and we chatted for an hour or so, before she had to go off.

after that, accompanied my mum to the doctor. recently she's been having pains in her joints, and her right arm has been really stiff. no idea what's happening to her, somewhat scary. she went for a blood test, and we (my bro was also there, he drove us) had toast and drinks (classic coffeeshop fare heh) at a nearby coffeeshop.

came back after that, played my Bristol game again. it's official. my team cannot defend to save it's life. while my attack is potent (thanks to the loan signing of Dexter Blackstock), my defence is INCREDIBLY leaky. oh well. will be looking for some defenders in the transfer window. sad thing is i have a non-existent transfer budget. will have to make do with loan signings.

went for lunch after that, pretty good stuff. wanted to have steamboat at first, but since my bro wasn't around, we settled for herbal chicken soup with rice. good stuff, good stuff. came back home to do that schedule thing, but because the schedules weren't even sent at the time, i just did all i could, pointing out what technicals my section needs and what aspects of the songs we have to concentrate on. had a little word with Mr Tan over this tight deadline, and he postponed the deadline to next week, phew.

have tuition after this, and tomorrow have Conquer O. like, fuck la. spoiler sia. holidays then want to gatecrash, that's the feeling it gives me. but hell, what must be done, must be done, so what the hey.

i'll end off this post with this video, immensely funny. the funny stuff kicks in only after 2 mins or so though, so just let it load before watching. i gurantee, u will NOT regret watching it at all! hahahah

Update on the Man Utd vs Bolton match at full time:

Final Score: 4-0

Scorers: Rooney(3), Ronaldo

Utd made a blistering start to the match, with 2 goals in the first 12 minutes, and even those were only 5 minutes apart, Rooney bagging both of them. For the rest of the half, it was mostly a patient passing game played by United, they weren't too bothered about making any chances, just taking them as they come.

The 2nd half began in the same vein as the 1st one ended, but then Bolton started finding their feet and began playing a long-ball game, taking every opportunity to launch the ball into the United penalty area, mostly from free-kicks(which United were giving quite a few of) and Ivan Campo's long throw-ins. these would have caused a few problems to the United defence of old, but Vidic was on top form, getting on the end of most of those balls and clearing them with strong headers. Bolton had only one clear chance in the 2nd half, and that was from a long ball which subsequently fell to Ivan Campo, whose shot was well-blocked by Van der Sar, with his legs. In between all this, United had a few chances. Giggs had a right foot shot well saved by Jussi Jaaskelainen, and both Saha and Rooney wasted chances, before the ball broke for Saha in the 81st minute, and he unselfishly squared the ball for Ronaldo to tap home.

After the third goal, Bolton seemed to lose all fight, and Allardyce even threw on some youngsters just to give them a game, knowing the match was lost. Bolton's attacks lost the sense of urgency they had prior to the 3rd goal. Fletcher (who had been brought on for Giggs) provided the assist for Rooney's third and United's fourth in the 89th minute, knocking the ball right into the path of Rooney's run and Rooney finished well into the bottom left-hand corner of the goal for his hat-trick, in his 21st birthday week.

ok the above report looks EXTREMELY 'straight-from-the-newspaper-ish'. hahahaha. but i don't care, United won convincingly and that's all that matters. Our goal difference improves yet again, and we're back at the top of the table. I hope more of this comes in the rest of the season. we'll need this kind of form if we want to win the Premiership again.

ok, here to update.

boring day, really. had chinese tuition in the morn, a routine one with no fuss. came back home and...rotted, really. played a little bit of FM, played my Bristol Rovers game (don't ask me why Bristol, just a whim heh.) but it was kinda screwing with me so i stopped after a short while.

took a pretty long nap after that, from around 1 or 2-plus till 5.30pm. felt good, heh, especially since my tuition in the morning was at 8.30 and i had to wake up at around 7.30. on a Saturday, yes. it's almost sacrilegious. lol

woke up...rotted again...(whole day spent rotting la, really) watched little bits of Chelsea vs Sheffield Utd in between F1 (no idea why i started watching F1) and you know what? each time i took a little peek at the match, Chelsea scored. like $Q# T$GF@! la. first goal i dunno what Paddy Kenny was doing, diving AWAY from the ball as Lampard hit the free kick. 2nd goal, i have no complaints, good play by Chelsea. also, Sheffield missed a penalty in the first half. idiots. Danny Webber hit the penalty really tamely and Hilario had no problems saving it.

anyhoo, in between all this (i was channel surfing, there was nothing that could catch my attention for very long today) i watched a little of I Not Stupid Too the series (don't usually do that) and saw Moxi lol. you know, the French Horn senior from yesteryear.

bored as heck. nothing to do but rot at home. Conquer O begins on Monday, *sigh*. just take it on the chin, i suppose. boost me grades and all that too.

oookkaaayyy well here's the first proper post (disregard that 'test test' thingy lol)

dunno, but i have the impression that most ppl wouldn't have expected me to get a blog. whatever it is, i do. plaudits to Tommy, helped with the whole setting up. Me noob, you know? hahaha

So anyhoo. today supposed to go bowling, but i thought, 'meh, screw that'. didn't go to school in the end, just relaxing at home. later still got tuition, but that's fine. tomorrow's holiday again! awright! then again, Conquer O's coming up. Bleah.

in any case, my results have improved since the mid-yrs, but still crappy. looking to rectify that situation over the hols. wanna get back to my Sec 1 and 2 kind of marks. i really really really miss getting those kind of grades.
